Dr Jim Morison FRCGP Associate Postgraduate Dean for Gloucestershire

A Gloucestershire GP since 1982, involved with Medical Education for almost my whole professional life.
The Patch APD is the link between the Severn Deanery School of Primary Care and the local Gloucestershire GP Training Scheme.

 


Dr Tom Agombar MRCGP Programme Director

GP Educator to Gloucestershire GP Training Scheme. I am a recent graduate of the Gloucestershire VTS and now a part-time GP partner at St John's Avenue Surgery, Churchdown. Responsible for supervising hospital placements for ST1 and ST2s and local contact for the MSc in Primary Care programme.


Dr Judith Brook MRCGP Course Organiser/GP Educator

I am a Part-time GP partner at Barnwood Medical Practice in Gloucester. I was appointed in 2007 as a Course organiser to Gloucester GP Training Scheme with a particular interesting in Small Group Learning.
I am the local contact for the Retainer Scheme and liaison CO to Stroud Trainers Workshop.

Dr Bill Foster FRCGP FHEA Course Organiser/GP Educator

My main interest is in design and delivery of educational activity. I have a particular interest in using humanities in medical education.


Dr Damian Kenny FRCGP FHEA GP Educator

Community Education Advisor in General Practice. My role is to promote continuing professional development of GPs by personal discussion and practice visits. I also facilitate workshops for Trainers, Registrars and others, and support GP learning groups and doctors with difficulties. I promote the use of participatory learning methods, liaising with hospital colleagues who provide educational sessions for GPs, and working with colleagues to promote teaching and learning of consultations skills.
